Liliana is co-founder and CEO of Sabio, a social enterprise increasing the number of women and people of color entering professional software engineering. Fifty-five percent of its graduates are Latino or African American and forty percent are women, ten points above the industry average.

Born in northern Mexico and raised in Los Angeles, she graduated from Wellesley College with a B.A. in biology. She was a founding board member of DIY Girls and serves on the advisory board of the City of Los Angeles Development Fund, which allocates the city's New Markets Tax Credits.
