Rodney Lopez serves as Interim Executive Director of Open Access, bringing more than 25 years of experience across the nonprofit and public sectors. A creative, dynamic, and detail-oriented leader, Rodney is known for building strong programs, supporting and developing teams, and connecting organizations with the communities they serve.

His background spans program and staff development, marketing, community outreach, and public and media relations. He is an accomplished public speaker, presenter, writer, and performer, with a talent for communicating complex ideas in clear, engaging ways. Fluent in Spanish, Rodney brings a multicultural lens and inclusive leadership style to his work.

As Interim Executive Director, Rodney is focused on providing stability, supporting staff and partners, strengthening communications, and advancing Open Access’s mission during this important period of transition.
